Not everyone with magical ability's is taken into the guild,the stronger your powers the better.Though if you can't keep them under control the guild really has no choice but to take you in and help anyway.The students are first show how best to control their power and the basics of healing and defending themselves.After a few years they can leave or stay to learn more about healing (then most go work in the hospital) or warrior skills (most become Royal guards)
