[glow=maroon,20,1000]Thorn walked the length of the river.pulling lightly on the red and black scarf round her neck.It was freezing,she didn't think it would have been this cold,she shivered slightly and pulled up her hood,all the time singing along quietly to the music coming out of her headphones.
"To cry is to know that you're alive

I never wanted to fool you, no
But a cold heart is a dead heart
And it feels like I've been buried alive by love
If I should die before I wake

She stopped suddenly and looked round,sure she'd heard something that wasn't part of the song,since it wasn't on too loud.She pressed the pause button and looked round,though she saw no one,shrugged it off,pressed play and continued to walk.Another five minutes and again the paused button had been pressed,she turned round again and started to look round now positive someone was there.

Seth seemed to appear from nowhere. He walked towards the girl. "Sorry, did i startle you?" He asked pushing his hair out of his eyes.

Seth smiled. "Well then, my goal of making someone insane before i die, has been completed." He paused. "I'm only joking." He said not wanting to come off as a loon. "Sorry about that before, didn't mean to freak you out. The name is Seth."

Seth looked around. "Just taking a walk, getting away from my house. I do that alot. But coming to the river...this is a first for me." He paused and looked at her. "What about you?"
